Softball

Girls Softball at The BASE is built on a foundation of topflight instruction and skill development through year-round training opportunities. Girls, ages 9-18, train at the BASE facility and fields throughout the city, while building knowledge of the game from experienced instructors. League play and tournament opportunities take place in the spring, summer, and fall.

Our players receive best-in-class instruction, a proven training methodology, professional-quality facilities, and a challenging and motivating environment, teaching the skills and mental approach needed to become a better and more explosive player. Emphasis is placed on  fundamentals, footwork, balance, conditioning, pitching, and catching.

Winning On & Off the Field

Like all BASE student-athletes, our softball players have to earn their spot by participating in academic programs and keeping their grades up. All players are offered SAT/ACT Prep, college application support and campus tours, STEM programs, and everything else provided by The BASE.

The BASE 2021 16U team traveled to Florida to compete in the National Babe Ruth League Tournament, after winning the New England Regionals. The team competed with over 30 teams from across the country and won runner-up in their division. Upon returning home, the team was honored on the field at Fenway Park for their accomplishment.
